kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2025 Posted May 18, 2025 Vientos @ 3B, Marte @ DH and McNutty @ CF.Hopefully, ESPN won't roll out an over-produced shitshow of this game, but probably not likely...

Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2025 Posted May 18, 2025 ESPN decided that this was going to be the 'Aaron Judge is so great and he's playing against Juan Soto and nobody else' game and they're going to stick with that narrative regardless of what happens.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2025 Posted May 18, 2025 Players in the outfield with a mic is garbage
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2025 Posted May 18, 2025 Now that they are done with Nimmo they can go back to washing the Yankees balls
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2025 Posted May 18, 2025 Cone with some nice history on Ed Kranepool
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2025 Posted May 18, 2025 Someone needs to tell Soto to get the stick out of his arse

ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2025 Posted May 18, 2025 I had the pleasure to have a drink with Cone long ago. Great guy Now score some runs!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 18, 2025 Posted May 18, 2025 It's weird that McNuggins is not only suddenly a preferable choice for center field than Nimmo, but he is also suddenly a better choice for an on-base guy.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2025 Posted May 18, 2025 Lindor just looks awful this past week.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 18, 2025 Posted May 18, 2025 That stranding the bases loaded could and should be the play of the game. Mets would really do well to build on that and score here. Also, some folks use the term "original Met" for anybody who played for the team in 1962, and others reserve the term for just the Opening Day 25 guys. I can hang out with both sorts.

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2025 Posted May 18, 2025 HP Umpire Adam Hamari (you may remember him from that most ridiculous ejection of Syndergaard in 2016) is having a terrible night behind the plate.
