Fortunately, the Mets have only one after-midnighter of this road trip, and they locked it down last night. They return for a daytripper against the newly rebranded (or unbranded) A's.



Lefty David Peterson takes the mound for the invaders. The TBA's have appeared to have settled on former Mets farmhand JT Ginn. The righthander went to the team formerly known as Oakland back in March of 2022 in the Chris Bassitt deal. Now, if a red-hot Pete Alonso can tee off on his former organization mate, the Mets hope to extract some more benefits from that trade.
