Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2025 Posted March 12, 2025 Immaculate Grid has started tracking our stats. Actually, it's been tracking for a long time. You're just not able to see the stats until you create an account, an option that has recently become available. Here's what it has for me:I've completed 226 grids. My average score is 7.9, and my average rarity is a not-so-good 199.I've used 467 players. (I don't know if this counts incorrect guesses.)The players I've used most often are:Willie Mays, 36 times.Darryl Strawberry 27.Dwight Gooden 25.Tom Seaver 25.Steve Carlton 24.Pedro Martinez 24.Mike Piazza 23.Carlos Beltran 21.Nolan Ryan 21.The teams I've done best with are the Mets, Dodgers, Giants, and, strangely, the White Sox.My best categories are Born in the United States, All Star, Played Outfield, Pitched, Played Right Field

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2025 Posted April 1, 2025 I was tempted to go with Rusty Kuntz, but I decided to go with all Mets: Phil Hennigan, Jim McAndrew, Don Hahn, George Theodore, Eric Cammack, Billy Baldwin, Al Weis, Mike Glavine, Charlie Williams. After I submitted my answers, I looked at the "Most Popular" grid, as I often do. This time, seven of the nine squares were Babe Ruth, and the other two were Derek Jeter and Hank Aaron. Ruth had a 0.9 in the Greg Brady spot, and between 0.2 and 0.5 in the others. Jeter was 0.3 in the Bobby spot, and Aaron was 0.2 in Carol's spot.
