I watched Sanchez' last outing against Toronto and he was lights out



Probably not gonna get 10 runs tonight but enough to go two up on Philthy

His last outing was against us, and he shut us down. This is a rematch of Sunday. Hopefully getting another look at him in a week will make him easier to hit, but I guess the same can be said of Peterson.

And no Alvarez. This reminds me of a thread we had a while back about Mendoza in which I said he sits players who have been hot. Francisco seems to have found his power stroke. This is a key series. Why not go with a hot hand?

The bottom line is no other NL contenders have the starting pitching depth and quality that the Mets do, and AL also as I think of it



The Mets are going to win the 2024 World Series and in the spirit of 1969 maybe even the Jets
