kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2024 Posted August 18, 2024 Actually, pigeon is less tougher than oriole, but you have to marinate it a good twelve hours before cooking.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2024 Posted August 18, 2024 O's score a lot but their pitching isn't holding up their end, mostly because of multiple guys on the ILTrevor Rogers was their big deadline pickup as they attempt to remedy that issue.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2024 Posted August 19, 2024 Rogers can be nasty and is much better than his 2-11 record.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2024 Posted August 19, 2024 Orioles lead MLB in HRs (even with Camden Yards no longer being the HR paradise it's been since its inception), are 3rd in RS/G, 2nd in OPS and tops in OPS+, and, unlike the Yanx who lead in OPS, their's is spread around more evenly. So that's a pretty tough two thru six in their lineup: Rutschman (118 OPS+), Henderson (167), Santander (136), Mountcastle (110), Jimenez (154 tho in limited playing time)and then there's Jackson Holliday batting 9th with a mere 624 OPS but 869 in 67 PA since his recall. And yet they're under .500 since July 8th [16 - 19]

batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2024 Posted August 19, 2024 I like that the Orioles kept this logo.[FIMG=255]https://content.sportslogos.net/logos/53/52/full/baltimore_orioles_logo_primary_20195398.png[/FIMG]I'm glad that the O's didn't "angry up" the logo, as is the modern trend. I like those old 50s and 60s friendlyish less-threatening looking logos.I miss these, too:[FIMG=255]https://content.sportslogos.net/logos/54/71/full/7xkp9hnp9jq11e1zia4tdcqjh.png[/FIMG][FIMG=255]https://content.sportslogos.net/logos/53/65/full/minnesota_twins_logo_primary_19618162.png[/FIMG][FIMG=255]https://content.sportslogos.net/logos/54/70/full/philadelphia_phillies_logo_primary_dark_1976_sportslogosnet-1814.png[/FIMG][FIMG=255]https://content.sportslogos.net/logos/54/73/full/x5qgaefxmvbsmrkzw3k8qggwr.png[/FIMG][FIMG=255]https://content.sportslogos.net/logos/53/57/full/4674_cleveland_indians-primary-1979.png[/FIMG]

ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2024 Posted August 19, 2024 Wahoo had his moments LGM!Dodgy weather
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2024 Posted August 19, 2024 btw, the name of the Baltimore CF is Colton Cowser, not Cowtipper as the lineup above suggests. That would indeed be a tough handle to live down.
