A little while ago I asked Alexa what time the game started, and she gave me the correct answer. The Mets take on the Mariners in Seattle at 10:10 p.m.

Then I asked her who's pitching for the Mets. And she told me that Chris Bassitt would be pitching for the Mets tonight against the Padres.

I suspect that that answer isn't completely accurate.

Alexa is kinda like Wikipedia. It's probably right most of the time, but you can never be certain.

Are we going to get the good Quintana (Washington) or the bad Quintana (Colorado)?

ME: The Mariners are kind of dressed like clowns.

GARY: The Mariners are 9-1 when wearing their City Connect Uniforms.

ME: Then they're 9-1 when dressed like clowns.

It's the black pants above all. White or even yellow pants would be better

Yeah, black and blue is always a tough roll, but here they are, winning again.

Three two-out hits for the Mets in three innings, all stranded.

Looks like Scott Servais is getting ready to pull Miller after six.

If that's the way it goes down, it would sure be a servais to the Mets.

I recall that game he shat the bed vs the Mariners and got himself released

In fairness the game was lost before he came in.

Adam survives for now, as Alex Young was optioned for Reed Garrett.

Trolly the right call especially if Young had options. But still, every Otto weakness on full display there, inability to put guys away, control problems and easy to run on. Turned a probable loss into a lockdown

I read an article about Adam a few days ago in which he cautioned the Mets not to release him. I didn't bother to read beyond the part where he hadn't given up a run an a few consecutive appearances.

That's a whole lotta' hubris from someone who has been pitching like he has been.

Just made it through Mets Fast Forward, it wasn't easy.

Disgraceful loss in the beautiful road greys. I agree yellow pants

would have been better than the black trousers. 10-1... huh...

That's all I got.
