Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 If the Mets win this challenge it will give an opportunity for someone else to hit into a GiDP
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 Wasn't Viktor Vodnik a villain in one of the Bond films?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 The result was never in doubt.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 Credit that win to the Rockies' infield.Strange to suddenly see Nolan Arrenado playing so indifferently at third in St. Louis, but his successor here in Denver looks as good as Arrenado ever was.

He rushed it when he didn't need to and two-hopped a throw from short RFBOTH of those last two needed to happen for the Rox to score that run.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 Frustrating game to attend in person, between the rain and the Mets lackluster play.

On defense, the Mets looked like they had been in three time zones in three days.An impressively bad game on both sides of the ball for Vientos. Confidence seems affected.
