Strange to suddenly see Nolan Arrenado playing so indifferently at third in St. Louis, but his successor here in Denver looks as good as Arrenado ever was.

- Taylor momentarily fumbling the ball in the RF corner - the runner is out at home (or stays at 3rd) if he doesn't

- then, even after Taylor's bobble, that was a really poor relay throw from Iglesies. He rushed it when he didn't need to and two-hopped a throw from short RF

BOTH of those last two needed to happen for the Rox to score that run.

Frustrating game to attend in person, between the rain and the Mets lackluster play.

Yeah, but that's more the crediting of the loss. On defense, the Mets looked like they had been in three time zones in three days.



An impressively bad game on both sides of the ball for Vientos. Confidence seems affected.
