It would be kinda fun to light Ranger up with like 8 runs in 3 2/3's.

To sleep, perchance to dream...

whoever wrote "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" should re-think that title.

I didn't see if Pete changed his shirt after his first base dive on defense last inning.

Cuz if he did change he's going to have to do so again after this half.

When I see someone in the Philly lineup named Rojas, I think of Cookie Rojas.

Well, we're 12.5% of the way there in 27.3% of the innings.

So you're saying there's a chance

Lou Casey in the midst of his one bad inning which he has seemingly every game out.

And the Mets staff having their usual inning where we don't even make the opposition earn their way on.

And, of course, the offense has two runs despite 4 hits, 2 walks and two Philly errors.

Why? 1/6 w/RiSP of course.

Considering that a one run deficit is usually an insurmountable hill these days, these tack-on runs we're handing them are essentially meaningless.

It was only just a question of whether getting the first two runners on was going to be followed by GiDP then K or K then GIDP

Oh good, another fucking walk!!!!

But at least it didn't load the bases ... oh wait!

But at least it wasn't then followed by an error ... oh wait!

Friday: L, 2 runs (one of which was essentially on diffensive indifference) on 4 hits

Saturday: L, 2 hits after getting no hit and shut out for 8-2/3

Sunday: W via miracle comeback

Monday: L, an actual lead which should have been bigger due to 1/11 w/RiSP, and then a blown late lead

Tuesday: L, shutout, 4 hits, perfect game'd thru five

Wednesday: L, no earned runs thru 7, ... some meaningless garbage time hits starting to show up

But other than this they're playing quite well.
