Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 Doesn't matter now, but I thought Nimmo could have had a triple.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 Nice to see Nimmzy and Omar crack a couple of XBH
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 Nimmo and McNeil are suddenly in the triple digits with their batting averages, and Marte is getting on with some regularity. We just need to get some of that vitality into Lindor.
Radar Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 Hopefully this will be our offensive breakout.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 Nice to see Severino settle down , looking good

Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 Deikman has played for 9 teams, and immediately displays why he's moved around so much.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 That's on McNeilIt you're going for the out you've got to be SURE of it and, if not, cut it and go home.
Radar Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 Stupid mistake there. Well let's get a couple back.

Another bargain basement move. I do have concerns that will be Stearns MO. Milwaukee may be more an aberration than a rule. Next year we'll have some idea.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 The Mets still have the highest payroll in baseball. I don't think evidence will suggest they are frugal.

I think this year was let's see what we have year.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 I can't possibly think of a reason that Stearns will underspend the money that the team's ownership would allow for him.Tonkin gave up zero runs in 7 2/3 innings this spring. Every team has a reliever making similar money to Michael Tonkin. Most have more than one.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 Well this isn't trending well.
Radar Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 Yes, I'm nervous. Very nervous that we're blowing this.
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 Have the Reds hit a ball hard at all today?
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2024 Author Posted April 6, 2024 No longer worried about who'll come on for the save.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 The season is very young…but this team is tough to watch.
dgwphotography Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 It's my fault. I put the game on right the beginning of the bottom of the 8th. They still haven't gotten an out.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 Defensive clinic here.Unfortunately, it's the before side of the clinic.I don't approve of how no manager can refuse to play along and let his starters go deeper into games than the norm.
