Agree. Another bargain basement move. I do have concerns that will be Stearns MO. Milwaukee may be more an aberration than a rule. Next year we'll have some idea.

True but that's pre Stearns. We'll have to wait and see on future and that starts next off season. I think this year was let's see what we have year.

I can't possibly think of a reason that Stearns will underspend the money that the team's ownership would allow for him.



Tonkin gave up zero runs in 7 2/3 innings this spring. Every team has a reliever making similar money to Michael Tonkin. Most have more than one.
