On the other hand, it's nice to see Carrasco still in the dugout and engaged in the game after the Mets escape the bottom of the previous inning.

I don't know that eyeblack does anything, but strange to see Francisco Álvarez out there without it in a bright, sunny day game.

Nice bunt attempt by Ortega, but his hook slide — seemingly meant to avoid a potential tag — allowed an easier exchange from the pitcher to first.

You wouldn't do that in the 9th but 'stealing' an extra run there vs hoping for another two-out hit is a worthwhile gamble, IMO, and he's likely safe on anything other than a perfect throw.
