German's last five starts were:

- 10 runs allowed in 3.1 innings

- Perfect game

- 3 runs in 4.1

- 2 runs in 6

- 5 runs in 6

... so make of that what you will

Of course our entire lineup is hitting under .100 for the month of July so it probably doesn't matter.

Despite Gary Sanchez' brief and ineffective performance as a Met, I feel like, thanks to the Subway Series, he's been a net-positive for us.

Been a lucky evening so far. Both rallies include mile-high popups that somehow dropped in, and the three-run homer had a ton of topspin and would have been a double in 95% of ballparks through history.*



But, they've hit a lot of popups. I guess if you hit enough, one or two are gonna drop.
