That's a good fact!



I stumbled over some footage of him pitching at home against Colorady in 2019, and it took me a disturbing number of beats to remember who he was.

I remember the name that's all , anyway made his MLB debut against the Phillies July 2018 , gave up 6 earned runs in just over 4 innings

I wanna say he wore 47. I also wanna say I was at his Met debut, sitting on the third base side, but that might be some other dude. He got a little unlucky in that start.

My first thought was Drew Gagnon had a good first start. Then I looked it up. He had a good first inning before going on to give up six earned runs and not get out of the fifth. But a 1-2-3 first inning in the majors is an accomplishment of its own.

I'll add that I usually reserve a special place in my memory for Francophonic Mets. (Craig Paquette and Mike DeJean will confirm this for me.)
