Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 When back-end relievers get sent up and down, it may be hard to distinguish them, but eventually one of them gets under your skin.Who is it? Who do you like to welcome back the most and regret saying goodbye to the most in 2022?We'll treat Chasen Shreve, Colin Holderman, and Jake Reed as ineligible, and designate Drew Smith and Tommy Hunter as Guys Who Stuck, but we'll let injured yo-yos like Sean Reid-Foley play.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 Agree on Medina. He's the only one of those guys who I don't mind coming into the game in a medium-leverage spot. (With apologies to Reid-Foley.)
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 12, 2022 Author Posted August 12, 2022 Sam Clay is the yo-yo who hasn't even gotten to be spun.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 Medina. He's been good enough not to be a yo-yo.
The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 I voted for Medina as we;ll. He's been pretty reliable. I do have a soft spot for Holderman, since he netted us Vogelbach.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 12, 2022 Author Posted August 12, 2022 Yeah, I don't know why I included him, even as I wrote that I wasn't.Did I forget somebiddy else?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 14, 2022 Author Posted August 14, 2022 I voted for Adonis too, but it's worth noting that Nogo has been death on a stick up in Syracuse, striking out 41 in 32 innings and clocking a 1.13 ERA.
