It has been over a year. I've heard the pitch count is about 75.

Jake misses Soto and Bell

Looking for a 27 pitch complete game.

Again, this one looks too easy.

this is the kind of game the mets get no-hit in, isn't it? at least... the old mets. no clue about these new mets.

It would be a lot of fun to add some whip cream and a couple cherries to this

occasion and light up the gnats for a dozen runs early for Jacob.

I had to go look up Abbott.

Turns 27 next month but is still a rookie (might still be next year as well)2nd round pick by Cubs in 2017 from Loyola Marymount University

Waiver pick up from the Cubs org last winter.

7 games last season, 1 start

This will be his 4th appearance and 1st start this year.

You shouldn't have to 'buy tickets'. That's likely an enticement for you now that they've got you there.

MLBN should be on your cable package if you have one.

MLB.TV is downloaded via the MLB app. You'll need to sign up for it but won't have to pay for this game tonight.

There's a guy in the seats behind the plate (behind the Delta sign) wearing a red hat who looks like Boris Johnson.

And maybe it is ... he's got some free time these days.

Not unlike the last hours of Edgar Allen Poe, I'm blacked out in Baltimore.

In case you're not aware, you can buy all NYM games for the season (minus any games blacked out in your area) from MLB.TV, or, for a higher price, buy All games (minus the same restrictions).

The Nats and Orioles are my blacked out markets. So even with deGrom's return being the MLB.com Free Game of the Day, I can't see it since I'm still blacked out.

First game I've seen on my laptop, tonight. Tell you the truth, I deliberately didn't subscribe to MLB.TV because I didn't want the temptation to sit in front of the TV every night, just catch the Marlins (and Rays, if there was an opponent I was interested in) plus ESPN games and the like. But this is a cool bonus, what with deGrom going and all.
