The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 JD comes through with a wounded duck of a flare to shallow RF. Now it goes to Nido with the tying run on 3rd.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 It's a bloop single for the King of Whatever, JD Davis. Now it's 1st and 3rd for Nido, the Duke of the Unexpected RBI Clutch Hit. But also, the King of We Need A Better Hitting Catcher And I Think He Is Hurt
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2022 Author Posted July 23, 2022 Thought we'd see Vogelbach here.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 It's it's immediately 0-2. Let us pray
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 Oh fuck. Like the SHaMs are a dumpster fire
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 What a boring team they have become and when Nido is your last hope you have no hope.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 How is there no pinch hitter for a light hitting catcher there? not loving where the bottom of this roster is right now

And lefty closer. But, he was also a starting All-Star, and Nido was not. And Nido might be hurt. And regardless, he arguably could have been an option to have PH for anyone who batted that inning, but Nido, with the game on the line.Is McNeil also hurt? And why was Buck was cagey when asked about the Nido v McNeil decision? Essentially he granted only the obvious-- McNeil was an option. And Nido was an option.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted July 24, 2022 Posted July 24, 2022 McNeil has been Schrödinger's hurt for months. but you cant' let Nido bat there. Gary was opening questioning if he was even healthy enough to swing the bat (which he did) during AB. So a bad hitter with an injury is who we're giving those AB too.
