Stroman is making his second start since coming off the IL. On July 9, he started and went 4 innings, 0 ER, against the LAD. For the year, he is 2-5 with a 4.91 ERA. Walker is 7-2, with a 2.63 ERA.

I feel like I need to confess something here. I've been so busy at work, that all I really retained from the Mets immediate future when I passed out from exhaustion on Wednesday, was that the Mets had a day game with the Cubs on Friday that Stroman was pitching, and that, still very busy, I was blissfully unaware that the Mets even had a game with the Cubs last night, until I picked up my phone to charge it overnight and saw a game thread on page 3.
