Also, am I right that the Mets org once had Steve Rogers, the Expo?

Incorrect. You may be thinking of Steve Renko, who was traded early in his Met-hood to Montreal (for Donn Clendenon).

That is correct.

Good guess, Rogers

But incorrect. Much more important to the Mets than Al Pedrique. Much. More guesses?

Yeah, I guess Phillips was more important to Met history [CROSSOUT]than being moved for a decent hitting catcher with throwing yips![/CROSSOUT] OE: bringing Bill Almon back.

Never mind Pedrique wasn't on the Lynchburg roster that year 🤷🏻‍♂️

OE: My late 1980s Met-Pirate transactions recall is clearly faulty…FWIW, the infielder in the haul going to Pittsburgh for Sasser, Randy Milligan, wasn't in Lynchburg that summer either.

I wonder if there's a list (a LOOOOONG list) of all the MLB draft picks ever available online.

If there is, I could go through it to see all the players the Mets have ever picked and see which ones never made to the majors with the Mets but starred for other teams. But a little Googling doesn't turn up any such list.

I haven't been to Baseball Almanac in some time. I don't recall it being so inundated

with over-the-top and annoying advertising. Yuck.

Baseball Reference also has this info. I'm 100% certain because I've used it in the past. But I couldn't find it just now. All I could find was a historical list of 1st round draft picks.
