Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 Our odds of scoring a run just rocketed to well over 3%
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 Maybe the odds aren't there to suggest a seventh consecutive pitcher is going to be on his game.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 Sac fly! We're on the board.Prepare to be walked off
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 Feels like a good bowel movement!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 Good God, Crawford is everything fools think Derek Jeter was.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 Serious Crawford leather flashin' there.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 Actually Gary, had Conforto been running it's likely they run into a DP on account of a fielder covering 2nd
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 Third Xtra innings game in six
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 It must feel awesome to strike out any guy with the name Yastrzemski.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 Had a feeling we were going to be Yazz'd, but rather we were Diazz'd.Fake runners nonsense again. Yay.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 Isn't this, like, the 11th lefty hurler the Giants have used in this game?
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 Playing for one run in the top of the 10th is a fool's errand.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 Giants bringing the gloves like champs.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 And, as usual, the problem with the bunt strategy is that its proponents pre-assume success even as success rates plummet.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 Diazz back out, this will likely not end well.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 Giants take a different route to moving the runner to 3rd.Now granted there's a difference between Posey & Mazeika
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 Attn Luis Rojas:Under these idiotic rules, the correct strategy is for the visiting team to play for 2 runs, not 1. Please adjust accordingly. Thanks for your cooperation.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 On to the 11th, let's not do anything stupid like bunting again.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 Conforto suddenly seems to have a hitch in his swing.

No one told him, "Maz can't bunt" and "Maz is a good contact hitter and a lefty".
