Lugo was lights out in the 8th, so, naturally, Luis has May warming up for the 9th. Despite the fact that May looked like chewed gum yesterday.

I didn't think Rizzo did such a great job there. He let it drop but didn't keep it in front of him, and then didn't get the lead runner.

He went for the easiest DP and the Cubs had it in the bag ... until they didn't.

Marisnick did well during his brief healthy period last season, but that was his greatest Mets contribution right there.

One of the problems with pinch-runners is that sometimes, the guy doesn't feel like he's just supposed to get around the bases more gracefully and a few steps faster than the guy he's replacing, but actually feels like it's his job to make a play.

He wasn't out by that much. I mean, he was clearly out, and it was a dumb play, but his hand was like three inches from the plate when McCann tagged him.
