My way better half is graduating from law school next week and our neighbor asked what she wanted for a graduation gift. So of course she says a baseball mitt because I ruin every girl I date. My neighbor turns up with this beauty, apparently left behind by the man himself at spring training many moons ago. And then we all played catch in the street.



Jason, if you're a lurker on this forum, sorry if this is the equivalent of seeing someone else on your stolen bike. We had nothing to do with it.

Yeah, neighbor is a huge Cards fan and we watch games together. Good catch on the lefty! That was a chunk of the story I left out. She said she asked her dad for a mitt when she was a kid and dad got her a glove for a righty (good one, dad). So she tells the neighbor she wants a baseball mitt and can't ever find a good lefty one and he came through bigly.
