bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Except for the fact that they are playing the last place Nationals, this is excellent.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2020 Author Posted September 24, 2020 Damn auto-correct lolol...
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Cherish this /zip FLOP
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 So it has come down to this, a battle to avoid last place in the NLEMets are currently two games up on the Gnats and they've so far split the season series 3-3 meaning that we need a split or better of these four games to stay out of the cellar.Losing 3 of 4 here would put the two teams in a tie but also give the Nats the 6-4 head-to-head advantage for the year and therefore the tie-breaker for 4th/5th place. And obviously a Washington sweep gives them 4th place outright. So of the five potential outcomes here [4-0, 3-1, 2-2, 1-3, 0-4] three of them favor us.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Jesus H. Chririnos! An opposite field home run!!
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Somehow blanked on the 6 PM start and missed several innings. Grrrr
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 If you have not listened in to the radio call, see if you can't guess the answer to today's Baker-Tilley Trivia Question: who is the only player to have appeared as such for the Mets, Expos and Washington Senators?
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Rosie can redeem his whole season here if he wants

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 He's yet to replace Norm as my favorite all-time Peterman ... but he's closing ground quickly.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 I hate only getting the radio feed. Missing McNeil getting the red ass with Joe West is heartbreaking.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 I don't get this swinging-3-0 bullshit at all.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 If Alonso simply gets a walk there, and everything else unfolds the same (no reason to think it would, but that's the situation we got), then they score at least one.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Nats down to last strike.... AgainBookz
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2020 Author Posted September 24, 2020 Edwin Diaz ladies, gentlemen and others... Edwin Diaz!!
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 The house that attracted the most trick-or-treaters when I was a kid was the one that gave out Chirinos.
