Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 Well, that's something that could go right going good 'n' wrong.I'm ready to get beaten by Max Scherzer and Juan Soto. But Howie Kendrick? That's just disrespectful.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 Well if we're going to dine on butt, now's the time
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 The Mets already had Robinson Cano. His name is Andres Gimenez. I rue that trade with Seattle
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 Ramos looks as bad as Nido which means he hits like garbage.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 A terrible performance by a terrible team filled with terrible baseball players who were placed on the team by a terrible General Manager who was selected by a terrible human being who knows nothing about baseball.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 Shit, now I have to go out and pay for ass, like I usually do.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 Sorry, no going out for ass, only curbside delivery.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 So after we got two on w/one out in the 7th: GiDP - K - K - GO - K - PO - K ... and I bet the whole sequence didn't take a total of 20 pitches.Only the pop-out left the infield although it was caught by an infielder so that doesn't really count either.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 This game turned on Alonso's bedshot of a pinch hitting appearance. The McNeil DP also, but that was hardly a failure.Wasted good pitching and good fielding. Rojas needs to get these guys out of this winning allergy

ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 Porcello pitched well. Take away that second pitch HR he was lights out
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 Tack on another 0-4 to a RiSP that was at .213 before the game beganAnd w/2 outs and RiSP it was .139 so now that's lower too.

When you are this bad there are many shitty options to choose from.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 Yeah, but a lot of good pitching and fielding kept them right in it and one bounce away for most of the last seven innings.I demand a philosophical review of the hitting approach.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2020 Author Posted August 12, 2020 Disappointed that we left so much ass uneaten yesterday. You know there are hungry kids in Africa that don't even have ass to eat, right kids?
