I chalk it up to a righty power hitter seeing the Green Monster. It seems so close you can reach out and touch it, so the tendency is to over-swing , going for that "easy" home run. Let's see what happens when he returns to a more normal (whatever that is) ballpark.

Well the difference being there's generally more great now. For my $$, he can flail away at 3 consecutive pitches out of the zone with 2 guys on and one out as long as he's also a .300 hitter with some doubles and triples over the course of a long year
