Humble. Gracious. Friendly. Everything you'd expect them to be. After our initial greetings we left them alone figuring they want to enjoy the game but they kept striking up conversation with us. Talked to my son when he saw he was keeping score. Asked if he played. Let that sink in. I'm talking to Pete Alonso's dad and he's asking about my son's baseball team. His mother was sweet and handed out orange pom poms. We all went ga ga over the baby sitting one row in front of us. With the exception of the play on the field we had the time of our lives.
