Funny, I don't remember much about SoSF episodes though we watched. With

1,000 channels and seemingly everything from the past on somewhere sometime

I don't recall seeing it listed anywhere recently.

After Ros-ERR-io homers (Ros-HR-io), Matz gives a run back on soft hits, including one by the pitcher. Should Conforto have been able to get Posey's hit?

I'm pretty confident my knee would break first!

Great job Mickey defending your player, you spineless, worthless, vapid, know-nothing, empty uniform.

Was there any doubt once the game went into extra innings?

SF has been beating the Mets in extra inning games since the days of Jim Davenport and Joey Amalifitano.

F is for Familia and F him. Gsellman got out of the jam but one good inning is all that he's capable of this year. F the Orioles for not keeping Young Yaz in their farm system. F the hitters, all of them as none did anything beyond the solos. F Matz for giving up a key single to the opposing pitcher in his first AB. F Mickey for being a spineless, worthless, vapid, know-nothing, empty uniform. And, as always, F Brodie for putting this team together.

Any faith or lack thereof I had in a victory had little to nothing to do with Joey Almafitano, and more to do with (1) getting no hits after the second, and (B) the Mets being 3-8 in extras this year.

A lot of driving yesterday so I caught a lot of this in the car. Not sure why this drove me so crazy, but the pre-game host (not sure who, but it wasn't Randazzo I don't think) said on multiple occasions that the Mets were looking for a win to take 3 out of 4 in the series. How do you get that wrong, then repeat it, and no one (hello producer, are you there???) corrects him?

Then to make matters worse, I get Wayne and some guy who's Not Howie calling the game. With the Mets futility yesterday, Howie would have been a great listen. Disgusted Howie is a good Howie.

Disgusted Howie is good Howie, isn't he? Cohen was disgusted yesterday in discussing how absurd it was that baseball is playing pretty much a full schedule of games at the time of the Hall of Fame induction ceremonies. And while he was flabbergasted ("Can't they figure out a way to work it into the schedule?"), there wasn't the same subtext that Howie has that suggests idiots are running the show.

You could almost hear his trapped junior partners over the years, thinking, "I totally agree with this guy, but I'm not sure how strongly I can voice that, because I've got none of his juice."
