If both New Yorker covers lose in this round I might throw a chair or curse out Tim Healy. Vote for Noah!

I like the Darling cover better. I think everything about its composition -- color, pose, background, Ron's expression, the headline. Glad it's not cluttered with subheads, like many other SI covers.

I'll be that guy and say I really don't get how the New Yorker covers do so well in this contest.

Well, I went for the Darling cover, but as exciting as it is to see your team worthy of the work of some great photographers, it's an even rarer treat to see the best illustrators tackle the subject.

I said this in an earlier round but the illustration looks like deGrom's hair and delivery, with Syndergaard's body. Is it supposed to be both of them? Like, I don;t get it.

The Darling cover is probably one of SI's only to feature an athlete wearing ROOS
