No matter how you pronounce his name, I'm beginning to think he was a bad signing.

He pitched to Winkler as if he was the tying run and last night's home run was on his mind.

I'm not banging the Familia-fan-club drum here but geez he got five of the

six outs and that soft hit to right field was lucky (or unlucky) whichever side

you want to take but not poor execution on his part.

The funny thing is around 9:00 I was thinking this is moving smothly, maybe we'll

get on in under 2:30 for a refreshing change.

I guess deGrom wouldn't have scored on that either. Not a whole lot of Mets would've.

Young Reyes doesn't score on that one, especially not with Mr. Puig out there.

But even Puig can't hold the runner on that one!!!!

Lol, I meant never a doubt they'd pull off a win despite the ups and downs.

Game over .500... onward and upwards...

Tuesday Night Mets Club was crowing over how Familia was back and we'd be outta there before 10 and of course we fucked it up.

We've now been witness to both of Frazier's home runs and most of his RBI.

Warmup/walkup klassik rawk music rated:

Vargas (VH's Panama)

Gsellman (Billy Squier Stroke)

McNeil (Def Leppard Pyromania)

Davis had a hell of an AB

McNeil is terrific

Alonso looked like a guy who was going strike out 250 times a year

More later...

I couldn't stomach it. When they tied it up I went to bed. Now, I would love to stay up an extra hour to watch them pull it out in the 10th but I can't do it. I'm a tired old man with a belly full of craft brew.

Yeah it seems like the book is getting around the league. Feed him sliders and changeups low and away and he'll chase them like a ravenous coyote.

One more Tuesday surprise like that and Frazier's new nickname will be "Mardis Gras."
