Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Author Posted April 2, 2019 He's safe. Give me a fucking break. I think the challenge is "is this a major league roster?"
LWFS Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Lost in the slow, painful Vargasian shuffle here is that the Mets offense has done absolute jack cheese since the second.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Somehow staggers through five to be in line for the win.
LWFS Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Everyone's kinda staggering through this business now.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Gary on Dom Smith: “He's turning into Tony Gwynn!”I love Sleepy Dom.

LWFS Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Lagares last night, Nimmo tonight, Turner in Washington tonight... What's up with all the hand-hitting lately?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Tim Tebow? Telephone call for Mr. Tebow!

A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Nimmo gets plunked, but I'm on the record stating that his bunt attempt was a fine idea! If he pushes it past Chen, there's nothing but grass and everyone walks to the next base. Gary didn't like it but I think it was clever up 3 runs in the 7th with them giving you the entire left side.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Author Posted April 2, 2019 Broxton in for Nimmo. Hopefully there's no break there. He was clearly in pain.

LWFS Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 I'm cool with the bunt idea, too.Meanwhile, Lugo is the first Met pitcher tonight who's pitching his first inning like he actually warmed up.

LWFS Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 And thanks to yesterday's interesting bullpen usage, now you can't bring in Diaz OR Familia to close.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 One of those disheartening nights where we win the first inning and lose the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th and stand a good chance to lose the 8th
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 The Mets should sell travel packages — airfare, hotel, and tickets — to get fans down to Miami to turn the place into a home stadium.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Come on, Canó. Did that ball go through your glove?
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 We need the ground ball specialist, whoever that is
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Alfaro is the Mets' MVP in this series.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 How much harder are the Mets going to try to give this away? The answer is none. None more harder.
LWFS Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Cripes, does this smell like a loss already.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 They win the damn thing
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Glad that Rosario has been working on his ups.
