I can't remember anyone else who did it like that before or since in a Mets uni.Todd Frazier?

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2019 Author Posted June 7, 2019 This is a "make it look easy" thread. Straw and Frazier are on opposite ends of the spectrum here.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 No doubt, but there's something "easy" — if not at all graceful — about hitting a homer to right center while looking so very ugly in your execution.I'm sure I've seen homers on uglier swings — Kirk Gibson's most famous homer, for instance, and half of Mark McGwire's 1998 homers — but I'm not sure I've seen a Met hit a homer on an uglier swing. And I've seen Rey Ordóñez homer.
