It's a lot of "selling jeans" stuff about his body type and stuff. They didn't know he had the heal spurs. Sounds like no one asked, which I guess, why would you, but it's just a lot of "he's got nagging injuries so clearly he'll always have nagging injuries"

A lot of LOLMets nonsense for them wanting to see how he responded to a night's sleep and a day of rest even though that's extremely common protocol for most teams, and for just injuries/conditions in general. They knew then they were managing something, and that if he woke up the next day and was fine, he'd still be hurt but could still play, like he'd been doing since they got him.

I'm not objecting to criticism, when it's sourced, and well argued. But these rags are mostly just doing zeitgeist clickbait stuff. It's for entertainment, and I don't find it entertaining. This is not just about the newspapers/media, i find the #LOLMets woe is me stuff extremely boring and lame.

So these papers
1. Don't inform me.
2. Don't entertain me.

so why bother? They're retweeting the press releases and making the same lame jokes a billion people made on Twitter the night before. Once in a blue moon they get in a cool photo/pun cover that's interesting, and that's about it.
