Pouring it on now. This would be a good time for Wilmer to clean up.

Wilmer w/bases loaded and 2 outs facing the LHP = pop-up
Lester w/bases loaded and 2 outs facing Syndergaard = two-run single

Ronnie neglects to relate the great Lee Trevino line about one irons.

Trevino, who was once injured by a lightning strike while playing a round, was asked what he'd do the next time he was out on a course during an electrical storm.
"Hold up a one iron" was his answer. When it was suggested that that would make it even more likely that he'd be struck, he answered no because, "even God can't hit a one iron".

After the replay review awards him a double, Rizzo asks if he has to touch first.

Baseball has gotten so weird. If you hit a homer, guys, the runners and batter should just jog back to the dugout.

Mickey is clearly trying to supermanage Lugo's and Gsellman's innings, keeping them out of games even when they are rested, even when the game is within a run (last night) or tied (tonight).
