bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 I really look forward to hearing A. Rodriguez reminiscing about his days at Yankee Stadium. And the box over the strike zone. And Matt (XFL) Vasgersian.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2018 Author Posted July 22, 2018 A night to sync WOR on SiriusXM with muted ESPN.

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2018 Author Posted July 22, 2018 Chance of rain tonight. Probably frogs and boils in the Mets clubhouse, too. Move all firstborn sons to high ground.
Methead Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 Those dicklords are gonna postpone deGrom, aren't they
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 Absolutely milling rain here in the Bronx right now

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 They're going to get this one started at least - although there's another line of stuff in eastern PA right now that might come by later. The question is how soon and then how long into the night this one will go. These Sunday night games already start too late and now this makes it almost certain that I'm not going to be up by the end.
Guest 41Forever Guests Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 Rain delays just give the ESPN guys more time to beat up the Mets. But they've move on the the Nats' issues, and I'm OK with that.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 If this gets going it will be late , a lot of heavy rain here right now
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 These segments with Rodriguez are shite , it's all about him, look what I noticed about you yyybbb
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 This is good news because Yoenis is guaranteed to be healthy when the game is played.

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2018 Author Posted July 23, 2018 Monday night, August 13, 7:05 PM, is makeup date.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 That's now a stretch with 21 games in 20 days. The Mets will be in MIA on Sunday, The Bronx on Monday, Baltimore on Tuesday and Wednesday, and Philadephia (for a DH) on Thursday. I hope all that travel does hurt their level of play.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 Not for nothing, but if a 25-story Mister Met can hold an umbrella over the ballpark, why should there be a rainout?More importantly, will somebody please explain what Mister Met wearing on his head?
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 Piling onto your post, I'm always leery of anyone whose facial expression doesn't match his mood. So why is Mr. Met grinning from ear to ear if he's disappointed about the rain-out?
