Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 Check out the Mets new offensive celebration.A little contrived? Mebbe, but I admit I just enjoyed it after Frazier gestured back to the dugout after sliding into third.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 Crap. I'm in the wrong thread.[tweet:1aggwrqq]https://twitter.com/circa_62/status/980148943731478533[/tweet:1aggwrqq]
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 TOTALLY contrived. I'm already a little sick of it, and I like this team.Stop trying to make "fetch" happen, Gretchen. It's NOT going to happen.

A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 It looks a little shake-weighty, but I don't mind it. Is there an origin story? "Now we're cookin!" or "bro, check out my shake weight" or something like that?

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Early on, I heard it explained as some combination of grinding it out and spreading the offense around, the latter more suggestive of spreading rock salt.Anything like this, when it's attached to the Mets winning, is great. They just shouldn't get carpal tunnel from it.

He treats like an old former-athlete would be expected to tweet, it's nothing particularly interesting and mostly it's just a way to promote his book.the salt and pepper thing will die down a little as the media gets used to it, and it'll just be something the team does and that @mets probably memes constantly.except for National broadcasts when they discover it of course.
