Not 25 Met games, as I read that. So maybe a game off for G/K/R.

Is this MLB trying to appeal to the youth and show off the new, faster game complete with TOTALLY COOL bullpen carts?

This is fascinating to me.

1. It's work time, so many people aren't watching the tv anyway.

2. You need a cable account to stream SNY. These are legitimately free games. These are more free than games on say CW11, which you can't stream at all.

3. I'll miss Gary Keith and Ron obviously, but I'd typically listen to these games on the radio anyway. I probably still will, streaming tv seems a little less kosher in an office setting. cut that cord.

Guys, this isn't 25 Met games. It's 25 MLB games.

So, stupid question here, is 'FACEBOOK WATCH' available to those who aren't a member of FACEBOOK?

I don't know, but I would guess no. If whatshisname CEO, the future president guy, paid however many millions for rights to stream these games to people for free, he's gonna want to mine some data for his $$.

So tomorrow is the first fb-only game? How would one tune in if they wanted to?

At the very least I'll be listening to Howie & Josh on XM over my phone app. If I can pull down the FB feed (especially w/o a FB account), all the better.

I have noticed some local business web sites have FB pages that I can still see. I just can't post to them or anything. Hopefully I get something like that.

I think I'm just going to skip this one - and by 'skip' I mean check up on it via the gameday thing on MLB.com
But I've got stuff to do tomorrow and don't really feel like figuring out if/how to make the 'Facebook Live' thing work just so I can view parts of it while I'm not otherwise busy on a small screen.
I'll be back for Thursday day tilt that will be the Nationals home opener featuring deGrom vs Strasburg

You guys don't do the MLB At-Bat radio thing? It's the only way to fly.

Yeah, though thanks to the NBC Sports app I do it less cause I can stream SNY now around the house. But I'll frequently use the app for the radio at work or in the car.

Always, and it’s even better since I’ve gotten it for free the last few seasons

I've been having issues with power, cable, and wifi. It's kinda windy out

Video froze up on me a lot, and the announcing was pretty bad. Plus too much irrelevant shit, like players' Facebook posts. Wasn't worth all the trouble.

Now excuse me while I chase these damn kids off my lawn.

August 13, the make-up game with the MFYs: exclusively on ESPN.
August 16, first game of the double-header with PHI: exclusively on Facebook. (So not a full day-off for GKR.)
August 19, Sunday night game in Williamsport, PA: exclusively on ESPN.
