the scumbag of a former cop, who's solution to fake crime statistics is to harass homeless people, was relevant to the conversation, as he's got sway in what happens here. Just the "he approves of the stadium" is relevant because there are only so many things you can put there, and mentioning one without talking about the affordable housing (you know, to put the homeless people you're trying to kill in) or the school, is relevant. This is NYC real estate, they're going to be fighting to maximize revenue/profit/riches/power and schools and affordable housing are roadblocks to them that they'd like to avoid, the only thing standing in the way is government regulations that are supposed to help protect citizens, but as we've seen from our favorite ex-cop asshole who lives in NJ, he doesn't care about them. No one builds affordable housing next to stadiums. Traffic and noise aren't compatible for places where families live. You build schools near housing, not in the middle of sports complexes. No one is trying to kill homeless people. Police aren't pigs. I don't recognize the world you claim to live in.
