Bernie was out for three weeks. I think we'll be able to survive without Nady for a month or so, but if someone else gets hurt our offense will probably see a dramatic decline.
I'd argue that this is not about a team playing over its head. This is about a team that is better than most of the teams it plays. In baseball, that can often equate to one-run wins. It's the nature of the game.
Is it fair that Heilman, or anyone, is given a blown save for losing the lead in an inning that would not have earned him a save even if he completed it? Shouldn't it be called a blown hold or something?
The Braves have played 18 games at home and 32 on the road. I think that is the lowest home/away ratio in baseball. They are 12-6 at home and return to Atlanta to play LA today.

That's a great KTE!!! If I had no knowledge of the team and just looked at that lineup I'd have thought that this team was playing .333 baseball. It's ugly-looking. 'Course the 2001 D'backs had Matt Williams batting sixth (?) for game 7 of the World Series, so it's all relative.
="nymets.com"]Steve Trachsel said the small bone that popped out in his upper back on Tuesday was put back in place the same night and he has had no trouble with it. Thus, Trachsel said he is ready to pitch on Monday against the Diamondbacks. I added the bold for emphasis. I never even heard about this.
