  1. Hey. I had a Met MVP thread all built and ready.
  2. How the fuck did you add a poll to my thread?
  3. I guess it's comforting to have a poster who will go to whatever lengths are necessary to find something to whine and bitch about. I guess.
  4. SteveJRogers wrote: I'm heading to bed actually, maybe lack of sleep has me more irratable and irrational on internet message boards Now you're blaming lack of sleep?
  5. Can a friendly neighborhood mod put this into the baseball forum?
  6. I don't think anyone picked Darren Oliver to lead the team in (low) ERA.
  7. 7.5 as the projected high for losses by a pitcher is pretty nice. Though it mostly is due to the high number of pitchers used this year.
  8. Edit: Jumped the gun.
  9. July was a beautiful month. Second best overall.
  10. Shocker.

  12. Can't stand the whites. What is this, the Navy? "Faggity white uniforms."
  13. I did too. I am making fun of myself. To cover my shame and embarrassment.
  14. Just can't give Lo Duca the points I normally would for a 4-4, 2 runs scored game with the performance by Beltran and Hernandez.
  15. Delgado?
  16. Who wanted El Duque put in the pen? Who? TELL ME WHO. I DEMAND YOU TELL ME WHO WANTED EL DUQUE PUT IN THE BULLPEN.
  17. OHernandez 5 Beltran 3.25 LoDuca 1.75

  19. cooby wrote: I'll tip my cap to Reyes, with Beltran a close second. Reyes is an interesting choice. The table-setter instead of the RBI machines. I had only been considering Wright and Beltran. But Beltran is almost approaching Reyes' run scored numbers, and his OPS and RBI obviously blows Reyes' away, so I'm going to stick with Beltran.

  21. A grand on the over. Shit, my gambling problem is kicking in.
  22. A better throw on the sac fly gets Renteria at second. Not that it was a terrible throw from Chavez. And it was from the warning track.
  23. Double play ball, Wright simply throws it three feet over Valentin's head.
  24. With the best talk show hosts, their facial responses when they hear something (for example an "I can't believe what that moron just said that" face) are as funny as their one-liners. Jon Stewart is no expression. Do you know the specific expression I'm thinking of? It cracks me up every time I watch that youtube clip that I posted.
