  1. ="Batty31"]I already have a bad feeling about this game. BAD VIBE ALERT! BAD VIBE ALERT!
  2. The Skankee rook can throw strikes. Thats all I'll give him after one.
  3. K-Rod Matsui's double is wasted in the 1st. Mets lead, 0-0.
  4. Maines first 3 pitches had me thinkin uh-oh. But then he gets Damon to pop up. I see some good movement on that fastball
  5. Kid Carsey wrote: If that holds up, and the Mets can sweep, ol' Steingrabber might just have an embolism tomorrow morning. lmao
  6. Mets played a messy game in the field and still managed to win this one. Tuff break for Glavine with the no decision. He pitched better than the box score will reflect.
  7. almost anti-climactic...but Ill take it.
  8. Come on Delagado--bring it home.
  9. And a big steal of 2nd. See that 2nd baseman try and deek Reyes? Endy draws the walk. 1st and 2nd, 2 out, Beltran up.

  11. Gah---we get to the BabyBearPen and get afew on with Delgado- right where we want em- and he slaps into a DP.
  12. Mets lead, 4-4.
  13. Smoltzie injured in that Wash/Atl game. There goes the no-no. Nice timing, ESPN.
  14. ENDY REEKS HAVOK!
  15. He may be getting a lil squeezed on borderliners--UGH! that one to DeRosa was a strike. Tom walks the bases loaded. Goes 3-2 on DeRosa and......... gets him to pop to center.
  16. Glavines starting to leave it up now. Only afew walks, but he better get it back down..
  17. Batty31 wrote: Thank you, Zvon for the update. Your welcome. I manage LoDuca in my fanatasy league (Mauer on my DL *sob) and Im gonna have a word with him about jumping on that first pitch w/ 2 on and 1 out.
  18. Glavine's been beating the ball into the ground for the most part so far. Id rather see that than leaving the ball up. Cubbies have been lucky. All RBI hits were possibly playable balls that just got thru or off a glove. (Endy--howd you not catch that? Easley--gah. Nice try both.) Mets down 4-0 after 1 1/2.

Edgy DC wrote: Wright's grinding right now, and doing a good job of it. He had some bad at-bats early in the game but still came back with that double. He has something like a 19-game hitting streak going and I can't remember the last time he's looked good. I get the idea he could grind out a modestly good season without ever being locked in.This is a good observation and true, but look for him to break out of his funk in a big way. More sooner than later. He's got to. He's David Wright, dammit!
  20. Damn. Damn.Damn.Damn.Damn.Damn.Damn.Damn.Damn. Well, thats baseball, when a team that sucks moose testicles can beat the giant behemoth that is the New York Mets.
  21. Ugh---Reyes lines one down the left field line,...JUST foul. Oh man-if that was fair : triple city. YEA! and Reyes goes right up the middle with a seeing eye grounder and plates Val. Only 1 run down now
