Rockies get the tying run to the plate. 1 out, man on 1st. DP! Game oveh! They looked like they were trying though. That Buc pitcher who gave up all the homers....I'd check his bank account for the next few weeks and see if there is a large deposit.

Watching SF now. Giants are up 3-2 in the 9th. OMG, umpires really suck these days. How could he get that wrong in real time? A force play @3rd, the guy was out by 2 feet! Still only 1 out, 2 on. OE: WP, 2nd & 3rd

Cripes, I'm just learning of DeAza'a kaBOOM now, but this was due to a snack delay.

I've noticed tweets too this season sometimes a good 30 secs before I see it on the tv. I have been commenting on this for a while. Maybe last season too. There have been delays sometimes over a minute, only when viewing thru the PC (MLBtv). Watching WPIX or ESPN on TV, there is still a delay, more like a half a minute. Yea, many times I hear/read whats happened before it happens. On twitter I just don't refresh until I think it's safe from spoilers.

oh man Im slippin'. Delayed kaBOOM. No rook symbol. ToppsNOW is getting silly. I'll make my own with a rookie symbol, print up one and possess the rarest Lugo rookie on this planet. The last ToppsNOW card I went for was the one with Thor/Seaver. I won't go for any more unless they put one out with me on it. Tommie Agee is also acceptable. For those listening to the SNY booth. Ha, Gary just said it. Why on earth would the minors use a different baseball?

I'll have to dust off some oldies for Reyes. Like you I expect it to be Go-Go Reyes soon after he reaches but I guess they are being more cautious in when they will have him Go-Go-Going. Maybe they feel he's still getting his legs back. Come crunch time down this stretch we do need Reyes to be as good a leadoff guy as he ever was. That's a lot to ask for at his age, but I think he can be that guy again. GRANDY!!!

Looks more like Alfred E Newman's dad.

Good thing we won easily. I laughed at Flores when he was out @ 3rd, but it was a nervous laugh. Colon is just amazin'. Mah man Reynolds smacks a biggy. Good game TS: The Mets are 20-10 this year against the NL Central. The Mets now have 12 straight wins against the Reds and 17 of their last 19. Wilmer Flores is now hitting. 279 against RHP since the start of August.

So 97 HRs at home. Niiiiice. And Muffy with the first 16 games w/a hit vs his old team is a silly record, but it's a record. post game stuff: CitiFieldHR ?@CitiFieldHR 8m8 minutes ago Fun fact, Jay Bruce was the first to hit a home run off a splitter in Citi Field this year. Anthony DiComo ?@AnthonyDiComo 11m11 minutes ago Seth Lugo pitched through a blister tonight that has bothered him his last two starts. Obviously though, no ill effects. #Mets Anthony DiComo ?@AnthonyDiComo 7m7 minutes ago Wilmer Flores, who changed his walk-up music to the theme from "Friends," said he's seen every episode. "I just can't stop watching it."

I really appreciate the MLB.tv sticks with the WOR radio broadcast for quite a while after the game ( nice and clear, not like my cheapo AM radio). The SNY feed they cut off before the last K in BOOKS! We've done a little more record breaking lately. I better start taking notes.

Howies got a great point tho. All games are crucial at this point. I wouldn't be concerned if not for the early game tomorrow. But we do have to treat all games as crucial. [bigpurple:1k0dt6oh]2[/bigpurple:1k0dt6oh]
