For some reason I can't explain I feel more excited at this time in 2016 than I was in 2015. Maybe I was in shock last September. This year I feel all giddy and excited, positive and confident. Like, they are going to do this. They know it, we know it, everyone knows it. They just have to do it.
I couldn't pay 100% attention until around the 6th inning and that's when everything started to happen. Great game, great comeback. TS: Mets are 15-4 in their last 19 games. If they go 15-6 in their last 21 games, they will be a 90-win team. Again. Mets have matched their season high watermark of 9 games over .500. They also have the easiest remaining schedule in baseball. ( I dont buy that easiest schedule shit. On paper it looks good but this is baseball. I mean, look at tonights game...) The Mets are 14-3 with Cespedes in the lineup since his return from the DL. Giants currently down 4-3 in the 4th.
Late scratch. Reyes, 3bCabrera, ss[crossout]Cespesdes, lf[/crossout] Tebow, lfGranderson, cfFlores, 2bBruce, rfI'm So Loney, I Could Cry, 1bdArnaud, cGsellman, sp Hey! That was a distraction! I was doing this before I even finished reading...
More from Mike: The Mets 95 road home runs are the sixth-most in a single-season in team history. The record is 105 set in 2000. The Mets are hitting .271 (36-133) with runners in scoring position in their last 18 games.
Over the past calendar year only 3 relievers (Jansen, Chapman, Betances) have a lower FIP than Addison Reed's 1.90 The importance of Yoenis Cespedes: Mets are 59-46 when he starts in 2016. Mets are 15-20 when he doesn't start in 2016. The last time Jeurys Familia walked a batter was on August 1st, he has pitched 15.2 innings since and has struck out 20 in that span. That graphic is amazing and I can only imagine how many hours that took -- all of them well-spend, by the way. I found the Phanatic getting trampled. Looking for the raccoon that was in my office. I'm sure he's in there somewhere. OE: Found him! Right there in front next to the Cub. OE 2: I have new computer wallpaper. This will start the day with a smile. What's the colorful thing behind Thor? A dragon? I don't even know. Lemme go move him out of the way (that's over 140 layered images). Oh, that's The 7 Line. This came together rather fast because it had to. I started on the new one right after the last game of the Reds sweep. Still, yea, that took a bunch of hours. Back to the important stuff: Last 20 games: Mets 14-6 Nationals 11-9 Cardinals 10-10 Giants 8-12 Pirates 7-13 Marlins 7-13
Thanx guyz. I had planned more additions but this was time sensitive. By tomorrow we could be in the drivers seat. I wanted the add Ronnie but did not find a suitable pic in time (I might update). The muppet represents Gelbs. I don't mean that as an insult, he's just a muppet kinda guy. I tried to get in as many players as possible but still many are left off. There is some room there for more.

But I think the side with Shine On didn't get nearly as much play as it's flip side (whatever was on it) because I always played the other side. For those young whippersnappers who don't know: the music of the 70's had "sides".
