btw, they remastered the old King Kong for the new DVD release, and Peter Jacksons crew from the new version recreated lost footage that was edited out of the theatrical release back in the 30's. They also explain the stop motion animation process that was used documentary style. (I thought everyone watched March Of The Wooden Soldiers over Thanksgiving)

A buddy from Houston just emailed me the other day about how Clemens was sure to win this award. And the Rocket had the numbers. Only 2 votes! Im truly shocked. Colon deserves it. Unfortunately, the award doesnt always go to the best pitcher, but many times to the most valuable pitcher on a team that gets to the post season. I dont agree with this per-say, but Colon certainly fits that bill. Santana was my favorite. I had him on my fantasy team (did in 2004 and hope to again in 2006). He's the best, but he did struggle a bit about mid season.

I dont think we need a 'big bat'. Wouldnt mind one, but I dont feel its a high priority need. NY papers report Manny says he only wants to go to the Angels or the Indians, for what thats worth. And reports also say Cameron has voiced a desire to play centerfield again. His agent denies the demand. (hey,I guess if they have to make up stories its okay. Its just nice to see the Mets name in print again) What does anybody have on Kenji Jojima? All it says is he's a .300 hitting 30 homer guy from Japan, but so was Kaz , so that dont mean much to me. Of course I vote for Ralph. With the Mets since day one, probly the only person left on earth who can boast that. There was a time when Ralph was a real mess. A joke even. My brothers and I used to watch games listening for what we called "Kinerism's" back in his drinking days and he rarely let us down. But even then he was good, and always entertaining. And dont get stuck on the throwing out runners thing.... What Im saying is we need a 'pitchers' catcher as opposed to a slugging catcher, and that Jacobs should play first base.
