  1. Put it out of reach, Pete!
  2. I'm glad that no ankles were turned on that play.
  3. Alas, Snell still faces the minimum number of batters.
  4. Snell's no-hitter broken up early tonight.
  5. Aroldis Chapman schlumping off the field with a weird smirk on his face while an opposing batter circles the bases never gets old.
  6. It will be nice to have a Mets team with more depth than Crater Lake.
  7. Hey, don't pretend for a moment that I put any work or research into this thing! I earned my 6th place status the honest and lazy way!
  8. Press Conference. Aide: "Sorry, Mayor Valentine is not here to address the controversy himself..." Journalist: "He's right there. With the moustache and glasses!" https://a.espncdn.com/photo/2019/0605/r552388_608x342_16-9.jpg>

  11. I put my thoughts in the IGT so I'll copy and paste them here. Willets Point wrote: I feel good about this split against the team with the best record in the league. The Mets felt dominant in their wins whereas they only felt a couple of hits away from taking the lead in their losses. You got to figure that if and when their hitters return from the IL they will be positioned to compete with the best teams in baseball. Note: I think I may have been incorrect about the Padres having the best record in the league when the series started, but they definitely were up there.
  12. Rougned Odor got called out on a pitch that was way outside that should've loaded the bases. It was as bad as some of the strike calls on pitches out of the strike zone in the Mets-Padres game on Friday, but somehow I expect this one to be treated as a MAJOR CRISIS!!!
  13. Theeeee Yaaaankeeeeesss looose!!! 3-game sweep for the rival Red Sox.

  15. Stroman knows how to make up for an error!
  16. Tatis moved like he was on marionette strings to avoid that pitch.
