I wonder which of those three teams will make it to the playoffs. Two teams from the AL Central indeed made the playoffs, but the Twins weren't even on my radar back then.
  2. Actual wins by month: April 16 May 16 June 15 July 16 August 19 September 14 October (reg. season) 1

  4. Looking forward to the 2007 cards commemorating the great Mets moments in the upcoming NLDS.
  5. Great NLDS memories to help pump us up:

Let's hope he's on to something. Seriously: How cool would that be? And not that farfetched, which is why (along with being a retarded optimist) the Pedro injury doesn't worry me too much either. As long as the lineup is healthy & the bullpen is solid, if we make the plays in the field and limit the bad guys to 3 or 4 runs over 6, we'll win. We've done it like that all year. Offense offense offense. I'm with you there. There's nothing left to do but let it ride and hope for miracles (and maybe an angry God might smite the Yankees).

  8. Ah, there it is. That was weird. I could only find it in search.
  9. I did, what forum is it in?

  13. Hey, they have a second announcer too. Where the hell's he been the past few innings?
  14. He sounds sleepy himself. And rather laconic for a radio announcer. Twins get their first hit. No no-no for Zito.
  15. The Twins' radio announcer sounds rather somnolent.
  16. "Bring your beard, bring your wife!"
  17. How do we know who the Mets NLDS/NLCS/World Series MVP is then?
  18. metirish wrote: You'd think Mets V Dodgers would be in the 8PM slot with the nations two biggest TV markets and all..... True. That makes it a day game for Pacific Time Zone fans. PS - I voted the Mets, of course.
  19. Tough choice. I like what both of these teams have done that past few seasons on a limited budget and would like to see each of them have some postseason success. I guess I'll go with the A's since they haven't made it past the first round for many years.
  20. Tigers all the way. They're my 3rd favorite team by marriage.
  21. And then the playoff potg's begin!
