Dicomo's tweet quoted Cespedes as saying "I will only be out three days" not two, not four. I would take the three day outcome

Vargas works at 86 mph He better be very crafty

You can never have enough pitching. Harvey, Matz and Wheeler all look like crap. Vargas Lugo and Gsellman are going to have to step up

Ramos is doing nothing to impress me. I'm being repetitive but can the Mets try and find some offense at catcher. It does not exist within the system.

Cespedes has to be wearing 10 pounds of armor and winter wear

Lets see what Matt Harvey brings to the mound on what should be a close to full house on a terrific spring evening. I like seeing Todd Frazier engaging the media as he does. That has to make life easier for those who are not as comfortable with the press

Realmuto is one of the better catchers in baseball. I do not believe Nimmo would get it done.

As for an established catcher via trade? P.J. Conlon's stock seems to be going up. That and a christian might do it.

My guess: It's a hedge against Wheeler getting knocked out in the second inning. This was stated as a reason When does Nimmo get MLB playing time? He's not getting any younger. 13 pitchers? Zounds
