Will be there with Fboy on Thursday and another buddy of mine who is a big Mets fan. Up in 508, if you're going to be there, give me a shout out so we can have some beers and talk about our lady-feelings. Send me a PM here or on Facebook to let me know... Also, because I live upstate and don't know the answer, my buddy is riding down with us and then planning on taking the train into Manhattan to meet his family for a long weekend -- can he just walk up to the 7 train gate (it is the 7, right?) after the game and buy his ticket, and walk on there with a suitcase? Or does he need to buy his ticket in advance, or is there an advantage to doing so? I don't know the trains well enough to be able to say -- aside from taking the Metro North in and out of Manhattan from Poughkeepsie, I have not ever ridden in or out of the city on a subway.

Despite the newness of his career, I put Thor's fastball up there with the best any Met has thrown. I think he takes the Pepsi challenge on that. Gooden and Nolan Ryan come to mind also.
