  1. I want deGrom and Matz to go into some kind of time share for a rotation spot. Let them each pitch once every ten days and keep trotting out Thor, Barty, Jizz-ellman and Loogie out there in the interim.
  2. I'm putting a wig and a bunch of tats on Rafael Montero and telling them it's either Gsellman or Lugo, and then not answering any return calls.
  3. As usual for a WPIX game, I am listening via XM and Howie + some fill in. So I'm probably a few pitches behind.
  4. Wow, that's a great sequence! [bigpurple:c2msbx33]BOOKS[/bigpurple:c2msbx33]
  5. That's a great K right there. Two to go.
  6. Conforto, going all Rudy Stein and taking one for the team. 6-4 good guys.
  7. Kelly Johnson, king of the pinch hit RBI!
  8. Better yet, RBI single!
  9. Nicely done there, fending off the 129 MPH ball to get the run in. Now let's see Grandy do the same thing.
  10. Jim Henderson, bad at baseball. C'mon, you SHaMs. Hit the ball.
  11. That is some kind of arm out there.

  13. Fuck the Nats and fuck ESPN. I'd like these three broadcasters to be standing right where the comet hits.
  14. This game was fan-fugu-tastic.

  17. Pat Strange was pretty odd.
  18. I love this place. Al Leiter was, truthfully, lighter as a Yankee than he was in Flushing. David has often been right. Yogi Berra was full of transcendental wisdom. Tug McGraw probably tugged at the bill of his cap. Anthony Young was not old.

  21. We'd be better off with John Lithgow from "Harry and the Hendersons," instead of this tomato can.
