    Watched first few innings on the Marlins feed, all I could find for back-of-the-truck streams today. Their announcers suck a big fat peninsula.

    Mark Vientos is an impressive hitter, at least at this level. He hits to all fields and consistently, and with power. He seems pretty confident up there. Francisco Alvarez, until this past week, has mostly looked overmatched at AAA ball. He hit a nice double yesterday that is a good sign There aren't any pitching prospects I've noticed for better or worse. We have seen a decent amount of the guys that bounce back and forth, like Yoan Lopez and pre-trade Holderman.

    I had a good excuse to not IGT, I was once again at our local ballpark to soak up some AAA Mets action (they lost, 6-3).

    Missed the whole thing due to attending a Syracuse Mets game. They won also.

    I feel like each round should be seeded after the results are in, the way NFL playoff games are. That makes more sense to me. You could have a division winner be a much weaker opponent than a wild card team like ATL.

    On a tangent, a team that wins its division but still has to play a one game "play in" game against a wild card is getting fucked by the playoff expansion. Worth noting.
