  1. There are also companies that specialize in Olerud relocation.
  2. Um, you figure out what the view would be, and THEN you build the house. If the view is blocked, you build somewhere else. What if the guy's house blocked his view? Would he have the right to tear it down? But yeah, nice to have these kind of problems.
  3. Willie did enough to get his number retired with the Giants. He didn't do anything to get his number retired with the Mets. If the threshold is two years where a Hall of Famer was on your roster, do they retire #12 for Roberto Alomar?
  4. Got mine yesterday! Tanks!

  6. And you can get past the call screeners by saying you want to talk about the Giants or Cardinals. "And here's Bob from Weehawken, NJ who wants to talk about the Giants....." "Yeah, do you think Lincecum can have a bounce-back year in 2013?"
  7. Jeez, when you have to fight tooth and nail against the fracking Astros, you know you're in trouble.
  8. Without Duda, there isn't a runner on second to try to score on that play. Shoulda brought Bay in as a defensive replacement.
  9. Sweet Jeebus on a popsicle stick. If Lucas Duda isn't in the American League next year, I'll be pissed.
  10. Hopefully Hefner makes the bullpen irrelevant.
  11. Is Bay allowed to do that?

  13. A great performance and you know these bastids are gonna waste it.
  14. Ceetar wrote: how about Satin or Lutz at second base before Valdespin? I have more faith in either of them being worthwhile major leaguers at this point. Reese Havens? Reese Havens, he of the .730 OPS at Binghamton? Um, no.
  15. If we're going to do music, we need haunting Peruvian Flutes. If I'm Terry, I begin drinking heavily. Or I do this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&feature=endscreen&v=PnIaqAsnSxU
  16. Hopefully Torres will get lost on his way to Citi. He certainly seems lost inside it.
  17. Put it in the bollocks.
  18. That was great. Always catch Scully whenever possible. He's the most soothing baseball announcer there is.
  19. Yeah, for $23 shipped I fell for it, too. Wonder how long it'll take ESPN to realize they're having a fire sale.
  20. I hear he invented steroid abuse.
  21. Domo Arigato, Ichi-Roboto!!!!!

  23. For God's sake, kid, DON'T PET THE DOG!!!!!!
  24. I hate how they do this to me every year, and how every spring I come back for more. End game managing there is almost irrelevant if none of your relievers can get anyone out. It's like asking if you want napalm or a lit Molotov Cocktail. Both are going to burn you. Terry should have gone out himself and pitched an inning for all the good it would do. It's trite, but Jesus H. Christmas, they need to find a reliable pen next year. And nobody currently wearing a Met uniform better be in it.
  25. Ben Sheets? What, Steve Avery wasn't available?
