  2. Cubans are so hit and miss. But in this case they've got to at least make an effort. They may have to outbid a few other teams, which isn't exactly how they roll, though.
  3. Speaking of crappy, 7 of the next 9 against the Braves. No excuses, boys.
  4. Okay kids, lets put this one away please.
  5. You know, Colon is making this look easy.
  6. Bartolo!!!! Always an adventure!

  8. Gelbs talking to draft picks is excruciating.
  9. Well, they better pick up a third baseman. Even if Wright makes it back next year, it'll be in a cameo role.
  10. Need the Fat Man to step up here. How someone can give the Mets one run on three hits over seven innings and then a few days later give up 6 runs in an inning is a mystery. I'd run the same damn lineup out there tonight and see if they still have their hitting shoes on.
  11. Thor was on a week's rest so I didn't have any problem with Terry pushing him a bit there. And Fammy hadn't been in a game in 5 days so he needed the work.
  12. Another doink, another run. Happy.
  13. NOOOOOOOO!!!! Bases loaded, no out!!!!! Doomed!
  14. So, three hits or two tonight?
  15. Wonder what John Mayberry Jr. is doing these days.
  16. I can't believe there's no Ribeye Steak.
  17. Your own personal Keith to use whenever the situation warrants. http://keithsfundies.com/soundboard/ And Gary too: http://itsouttahe.re/
  18. Maybe one of the doctors can hit with RISP.
  19. Cole probably won't pitch. Right triceps tightness. Jameson Taillon, who pitched pretty well against them last week, is the likely substitute.
  20. ROUND 10: Gene Cone (wonder if he'll get invited to Bar Mitzvahs like that other Cone/Cohen?); OF Univ South Carolina-Columbia***; L/L; 6' 0"/170; 9/21/94
  21. Well, if he didn't have chest pains before, he probably will after watching this game.
  22. Wow, Brewers don't want to win either. Stalemate.
